We bought these nice leather short leads because of how light they are, but still heavy duty. It's awesome to go off leash hiking but clip them on a harness so when people come by us I can safety hold them to the side of the trail without getting out the bigger leashes. I highly recommend these traffic leads. The clip is a nice heavy duty brass clasp that is very easy to clip onto a leash or harness without an issue. We even go swimming with these leashes and they have held up awesome so far.

This leash handle looks and feels very high quality. It feels super comfortable in my hand and seems very sturdy. Im a dog trainer and a dog walker and it's very hard to find a quality leather leash that will last for year. I had this attached to a very mouthy 45 lb. lab mix puppy who loves to chew and there were no teeth marks on it. I'm going to give the longer leashes by this brand a shot.

Moto G5 Plus Review: An excellent mid-range phone that suits all of my needs!

Please keep in mind that I am rating this phone with 5 stars because it really met my expectations. I can say I am a tech savvy guy who likes to do some research before purchasing any electronic product.
So having said that, I can tell you that upgrading from a Huawei Y-330 (a low-budget phone) was a huge step forward. The result: a very satisfied costumer who would like to recommend the Moto G5 Plus for people like me who are looking for a mid-range affordable phone.
The Moto G5 Plus is an excellent choice for you everyday tasks: phone calls, social media, email and taking pictures.
After a couple of weeks I have no complaints about this phone. Android OS 7 has never crashed, every app runs smoothly, picture-quality is really good (you can shoot 4K video), speaker might be not be the best in the market but it is more than enough when it comes to phone calling, watching videos and listening to music. Seriously, I am enjoying my music while having breakfast and don't need to turn the volume up to the maximum.
Now let's talk about my favorite technical spec: the fingerprint reader. It is very fast, accurate and IMO very useful. I just love it because I don't have to draw any patterns or type in a password. If you want to take more advantage of it, try the Moto App and give the swipe options a try.
But what about the things I dislike? Well, like I said before: I don't have any complaints about this phone. What I didn't like so much was the front-camera. I don't know much about other front-camera lenses but this one is like a fish-eye lens when you hold it too close to your face, haha! In my case this is not a deal-breaker since I don't use it that much. The farther you keep it from your face, the lesser fish-eye effect you will get.
Remember I said I was upgrading from a Huawei Y-330? I also have to say to I have previously owned an iPhone 5S. Is the Moto G5 Plus better? It might be. The fingerprint sensor is faster, display quality is better, camera is better... I know it is not fair to compare this phones since the G5 was released 4 years after the iPhone 5S, I just want you to know a little more about my experience with cell phones. The G5 Plus is heavier, bigger, thinner than the iPhone 5S. It is not as tall nor as heavy as the iPhone 7 Plus but it is just a little bit thicker than it (a difference that you might not even notice).
Before I finish this review let me say that I don't do mobile-gaming so I haven't pushed the graphics to the limit. Display quality is really good, you can choose between natural-color mode and enhanced-color mode. I have never been a fan of adaptive brightness on any of my electronics devices so I can't say anything about it. You won't have any annoying HISS when you plug in your headphones, and the volume levels are very well distanced from each other, even the lower ones. Battery charges very fast thanks to Turbo-Charging. But does it last long? In my case, sometimes it lasts the whole day. Just be sure to take the charger with you to the office (which I bet you do).
Please take note on the following: I am not saying this is the best phone in the market but it might be the best mid-range phone for my needs (which are not extremely demanding). If you want a phone that runs fast, that lets you browse the web with no hiccups, takes good-quality pictures, and provides good-quality phone calls, then this should be your choice. What makes it even more attractive? Its price. Really. You won't be disappointed.
UPDATE 1: I forgot to say I am residing now in South America and have no problem with my service provider so far. Just switched the SIM card from the old phone to this new G5 Plus.
UPDATE 2: Phone works with USB On-The-Go Flash Drives. I have been using Sandisk 64GB OTG Dual Drive USB 3.0 and it works like a charm. Transferring files between the G5 Plus and the USB Drive is easy and super fast.

Best Dog Muzzle in the World

I have a 6 lb. Chihuahua who was rescued from a puppy mill when he was quite mature (10+ years old). While he has settled in at our house, he has issues with company and with the vet and strangers. He's so cute that everyone wants to pet him, but I can't trust that he won't bite them. This muzzle is soft enough and has enough room so that he can breathe and it doesn't pinch him. He doesn't get upset when I put it on him, which is kind of unusual for his normal behavior! I believe that it must be comfortable for him. It prevents him from the incessant barking when he's scared and he can't bite anyone. This makes me feel so much better. I have been worried that he may bite someone and that would cause a huge problem and even result in a lawsuit or having him taken from our home. He's a good boy when he's with us at home. I have been trying to take him out and about a bit to get him socialized. It has been working, slowly, of course, but I am hopeful that some day he will overcome all his fears and anti-social behavior. But this muzzle gives me peace of mind that I can try my best to get him socialized and prevent him from biting someone. I hesitated to get a muzzle, but I always thought it was cruel to muzzle a dog. But I've never had a dog in the past who needed muzzling. This dog is an exception and this muzzle is working well.

Duck Mouth Shaped Dog Muzzle
Well made, cute muzzle that fits our shih tzu puppy! We live in an apartment building with some aggressive dogs who have made trouble for the rest of our loyal four-pawed friends, and now all dogs must be muzzled when entering or leaving the building. I was very concerned about the new muzzle requirement for two reasons. One, we live in Manila and most muzzles do not allow a dog to pant adequately to cool themselves. Two, well, have you ever seen a shih tzu's face? They are pretty flat and most muzzles won't fit a puppy shih tzu. I talked to the vet who told me to find an open style muzzle, and then I researched Amazon. Based on other reviews, I ordered a large. This muzzle is perfect! It has a soft, flexible silicon bill, covers my puppy's mouth but is open enough to allow him to pant, and he is the center of attention when he goes out to play. All the kids love him and want to see him with his muzzle. Of course, we take it off once we are outside, but they hang around to see him when we go back inside after play time. So not only does this product satisfy the building's muzzle requirement, it helps with my dog's socialization.
Pros -
Quality materials, design, and construction;
Clasp is easy to snap, holds firmly even when my dog shakes his head, and is easy to open when removing muzzle
Duck bill can be washed quickly and easily with hand or dish soap and water
Open style keeps mouth covered while allowing plenty of room to pant and get fresh air
Bill shape ensures muzzle does not push into eyes
Cons
Sizing is hard to estimate
All products have room for improvement and perhaps this product could publish best sizes by breed; however, there is also a burden on the shopper to research a product. It is unfortunate when people give a product a bad review because they did not buy the proper item. If you are looking for an open style muzzle for a small dog, I highlth recommend this product.

OnePlus 5 Review: Vs. Honor 8

OnePlus 5
I am an android geek and an enthusiast for many years. I have rooted phones, written xposed modules and am deeply familiar with android phones. I have moved on, though. All i now want is a good stable, responsive phone. Coming from LG G3, i narrowed my choices to Axon 7, Honor 8 and OnePlus 5 (based on true value). I don't believe there are many other choices.
I read numerous reviews on each of these phones, however, i want to decide for myself. Bought all 3 phones and used it as daily driver for a week. I am not gonna bore you with all with processors/technical specs/etc. Phone Arena has those info.
Here's my summarized version on usability of the phones.
Axon 7
Pro:
+ Best value for the money among all three phones.
+ ZTE is very generous; they don't skimp on anything; Phone comes with everything; including a case, extra set of screen protector.
+ Phone is snappy; not many junk Apps; can even disable most of the junk;
+ ZTE Custom UI is decent (not great); but customizable
+ Dual Sim; but one of slot is either SD card or 2nd sim
+ Excellent speaker; although i rarely use it. I always use headphones, so this feature really didn't tip the scale.
+ Wifi Calling and VOLTE are available.
Con:
- Slow fingerprint reader for unlocking the phone. In my opinion, this is a serious flaw since you will be constantly unlocking the phone. Even though you might overlook this flaw initially, it will get to you after some time.
- Cellular bands are not wide. Works well with GSM carriers in USA (like TMobile, AT&T etc). Does not work with CDMA. However, if you want to take your phone over seas (asian countries) not all LTE bands are compatible
- Among the three, this is the heaviest phone. Also, phone is slightly big to use it in 1 hand.
Honor 8 (FRD L04):
Pro:
+ Best looking phone. Phone feels very slippery. I was afraid i might drop the phone.
+ Very fast and good finger print reader. Best of all, you can customize few commands in the reader.
+ Good customizable UI. Best part is, you can dim the screen for reading, will be easy on your eyes.
Con:
- This is NOT a dual sim phone. This phone may have a slot to put the second sim. The phone sold in usa does not have dual sim support in OS.
- The cellular bands are not wide. Works well with GSM Networks in USA (like TMobile, AT&T, etc). Not with CDMA. However, if you want to take your phone over seas (asian countries), not all LTE bands are compatible
- Junk apps
- no WiFi calling available.
OnePlus 5:
Pro:
+ Phone is lighter than Axon7
+ Broadest Cellular band. Works well with all GSM Carrier in USA; And, if you plan to take it to asian countries, it works well with all GSM carriers there as well.
+ Dual Sim; Also, you can dim the screen for reading, will be easy on your eyes
+ BEST of all; insanely fast fingerprint reader; The fastest phone, by far. Has the largest RAM, 6GB; fastest processor.
+ Closest to the native android experience. Not many bloatwares
+ Wifi Calling available; so is VOLTE.
Con:
- Phone is the same size as Axon7; big for one hand; but much lighter than Axon 7
- No SD Card slot
- Most expensive of all 3
- Compared to ZTE (see Axon 7 above) OnePlus is very cheap. Phone comes with wall charger and a cable, that it. No ear phones, nothing.
- Not many UI customization available;
- WORST Customer Service. This takes the cake, when it comes to bad customer service.
In summary, it all came down to finger print reader. The delay in reading and unlocking the phone will slowly get on your nerves. If you do not care about dual sim (or broadest cellular band), Honor 8 is a good choice. However, if you want dual sim and the fastest
finger print reader, you may have to choose OnePlus 5. I know i will hate OnePlus customer service. I may buy square trade warranty just to avoid talking to OnePlus.

LG G6 User Reviews

LG G6 User Reviews
Wow, what a great phone! Moving up from an LG Flex, and was reluctant to let the Flex go, because I loved it so much. The screen of the G6 is as tall as the Flex, but slightly narrower. The photo quality is far superior. (But of course, the G6 does not "flex," alas. I liked it!)

I had never had an unlocked phone before, so wasn't sure if I would have technical challenges. I didn't. The unlocked version has an Android OS tailored by LG, but no add-ons from my cell carrier, thank goodness! So it is cleaner and easier, and I still have the option to download apps from my carrier (T-Mobile) if I choose to.

I transferred every iota of data and nearly all apps from the Flex to the G6, using Google. (The easy step by step process pops right up on both new and old phones.) Interestingly, the transfer did not "empty" my old Flex, so I now have duplicate contents on the phones. (Without a SIM card, the Flex will not handle calls and texts, but it still receives notifications, news, and everything else. Every morning I read the New York Times and other news on the Flex, saving the G6 battery!)

The phone arrived a bit more quickly than predicted, and with a few hours of charge, it was up and at it! It was well-packaged, with all the right accessories and paperwork. I would buy from this seller again, or refer others to them!
By night owl
I crashed my Nexus5 hard and with replacing the screen and the battery, I decided it was time for a new phone. Wow, did I find a winner. It's screen is huge but the phone still fits in my packet securely. I had a Galaxy Note II that spent as much time on the floor as in my pocket that was a slightly large phone, This one is just the right size for me.

PROS:
* After having fried a Nexus 6 in the toilet (yes, yuk) I really like the water resistant feature. I can slip it on the back of my bike jersey and not worry if it rains or how much I sweat.
* The finger print feature I wasn't sure about but I really like it now that I have it. Not a must have on future phones, but I like being able to open lots of apps w/o entering a complicated password (like banking apps) being entered correctly. Quicker, too.
* Battery life is exceptional. I use it and it runs all day w/o charging.
* Love the dual SIMM card. I put a 128GB card in it and the new android saves data there for movies, pictures, music, the stuff that takes up lots of room.

CONS:
* Honestly non yet. I bought in as an unlocked T-Mobile phone, but I have T-Mobile as my carrier so the T-Mobile specific applicatins are working for me, or I just removed the ones I had no use for.

I recommend this phone highly. Especially now that the G6 has come out with a higher speed processor and all the international bells and whistles, this version (North American, Snap Dragon 815 vs, 820) is an even better bargain that will probably get cheaper.
By South Texan
Good design. It is good to see LG going back to the nailing the basics that make for a great phone.

Pros:
1 slim and not too heavy
2 generous screen with excellent colors
3 fingerprint reader doubles up as power button
4 Good UX customization of android with not too much customization

Cons:
1 Clean right edge of the phone but volume buttons are on the left edge, and get in the way holding the phone up reading in bed (will stop me from using phone eventually)
2 Speaker is ok better than others such as the Pixel but not any where close to the excellent sound of the Sony XZ Premium, for example.

HUAWEI Mate 9 Review

I am extremely impressed with this phone. I went from the S7 Edge to this phone and I thought it would be a drop off in performance, but boy was I wrong. I've actually gotten better performance out of this phone versus my other one. I am pleasantly shocked and don't regret my decision to switch.
I have been in the cell phone industry for much of my career. I worked for Motorola and was one of the first to get my hands on the newest cell phones in the 90's. Startacs, Razors you name it. I have had my share of Motorola smart phones, which I loved at the time and Samsungs. Though I have ‘allowed' my wife to have an Apple I could never bring myself to over pay for one myself as I am deeply rooted in the Android eco-system.
When I finally got my hands on a Nexus 6P (from Huawei) I thought all my prayers were answered but along comes the Mate 9. Faster, better battery life and BIGGER. I have come to the conclusion that bigger is better and the Mate 9 is bigger (battery, screen, faster, more beautiful) in every way. I even love the EMUI interface which surprised me, Huawei has really listened to its customers and create a wonderful product.
Let's look at the most important features:
The battery – When the 6P came out and it's a great phone many reported it would last all day but not like the Mate 9. It really does.
The finger print reader – Never again am I fumbling to get to my phone, fast and accurate as they come.
The camera – This is awesome, my son is a profession photographer and he loves all the features I can barely understand and the beauty mode makes even an old guy like me look good.
The performance – Bar none the best I have ever had. I never wait and everything is so smooth.
Connectivity – Again I have had nothing like this. The Mate 9 seamlessly switched you back and forth to the best connection and automatically reconnects to WIFI for an exceptional experience. Until you have experienced WIFI+ you are missing the best speed you can get! Add to that more cellular bands and better coverage than ever.
Dual sim cards for you business guys, such a cool feature.
Storage – Comes with a lot but it actually has a SD card slot, imagine that Apple and Pixel.
So if there is a con to this phone what would it be? Most likely the fact you don't have one! Maybe you should get one and figure that out for yourself, I bet it will be hard to find.

JJRC H37 Elfie Pocket Drone Review

JJRC H37 Elfie Pocket Fold Portable Photography Wifi FPV With 0.3MP Camera Phone Control RC Drone

  • martphone WiFi Remote Control - You can control your drone with wifi connection to your phone(ios or android),your phone will receive real-time transmission from the camera on the drone! The pictures and video store in your phone ,it`s easy to share them with your friend.
  • High Hold Mode: When you release the throttle stick after using it, the rc drone will automatically set the height and still hover at the released height. Thus you can fly the drone easily and steadily.
  • Headless Mode - When enters into headless mode, you don't need to worry about the direction problem. You can fly the quadcopter drone easily without knowing the direction. One Key Return - Recall the drone effortlessly, just touch a button on the app interface.
  • Equipped with 3 speed modes, low, medium and fast. This allows you to fly, for instance, in a small spaces with low speed and maximum control or in more spacious areas with a very fast speed
  • Aerobatic Flight - 3D flips and rolls make the 360 degree rotations towards various directions to give you the spectacular performance. LED Light - With LED light, more fun when you play it on a dark night, it will be a shining star.
This pocket drone is the coolest little drone that I own. It's so small and can fit anywhere. I mostly keep it in my backpack so that way I can fly it whenever I want. In the box you get the drone, extra parts, a battery, and a charger for the battery. The way you fly the drone is by using a app on your phone. I felt like it was easier to fly on my Galaxy S7 edge because it was a bigger screen. At first the Drone was a little hard to fly but once I got the hang of it it got easier. I can fly the drone and have full control over it. The controls on the app are easy to use and work just as they should. They stay connected to Drone throughout my entire flight time. I have not had any problems with this Drone at all. The only thing I don't like about the Drone is the flight time but with such a small battery it's to be expected. It lasts just as long as any other small toy drones which is about 5-6 minutes. The selfie camera works really good and the Drone is also capable of filming videos. All your pictures and videos are saved on the app.
JJRC H37
It's a little tuff to get used to the controls being on an iPad, but once you do, this is a great little drone. I also bought a set of 5 extra batteries and a little multi charger to go on trips with. Picture quality is pretty good too, and the thing is surprisingly durable! This drone is so small and light that it actually qualifies as a toy, which might get you around certain restrictions in some areas, where larger drones are not allowed to fly. An excellent value for the price.

Samsung Galaxy S8 Hands-on Review

Samsung Galaxy S8
Excellent phone, beautiful aesthetics, and a taste of the future worth paying for: 9/10.

TL;DR

It's hard to choose your next phone because there are so many good options today, and potentially good phones coming later this year (2017). By now you've probably seen a million reviews on the S8, but it doesn't make the decision easier. Here's my suggestion, in two quick steps. Make sure none of the cons below are deal-breakers for you. Then, look over the list of unique advantages, and see if they get you excited enough to pay the hefty $750. If you're still here after that, then welcome to the club! Be sure to check out my final tips for maximizing your S8 experience.

CONS:
1. Edge screen is beautiful, but annoying in two situations. It creates visual distortions a little (less than S7 Edge though). It is also difficult to hold the phone up in the air, face down (e.g. before sleep), as the phone is prone to accidentally registering side touches. A case remedies the latter problem, but I dislike putting a case on such a beautiful phone (see pro tip #1).
2. Samsung is not very good with software updates. If you take great pleasure from trying new Android in a timely manner, this isn't for you -- the only two options are iPhones and Pixels. That said, keep in mind that new software updates typically slow down the phone.
3. Fingerprint scanner location has been mentioned a gazillion times. Yes, I wish it was on the front. No, it really isn't that bad on an S8 (S8+ is a different story). You know, we have this thing called "muscle memory".. It took me two days to adjust to the new location, and now I have no problems. If you really hate it, try facial recognition or iris scanner, they're very good (see pro tip #8)
4. The phone has glass back that’s prone to cracking, so watch out if you’re clumsy. But see pro tip #1
5. S8 doesn’t have monster battery life, and it needs to be charged once a day. If you need to go past a day, look elsewhere.
6. Some are disappointed about a lack of dual-camera. Personally, the rear camera is wide enough that I am rarely in a situation where I feel the need for a wide-angle lens (like in LG). An optical zoom would have been nice (like in Iphone 7+), but not really an issue for me (see pro tip #6)

UNIQUE ADVANTAGES
1. Futuristic aesthetics of a bezelless all-screen phone. This doesn’t really improve the functionality of the phone, but there’s just something satisfying about this futuristic experience.
2. The screen is just so damn beautiful, no contest here. Always-on display is useful.
3. As of today, it’s the only phone that checks ALL of my needs: Excellent rear camera, excellent front camera (reviewers too often ignore this), water proof, dust proof, wireless (fast) charging, full-day battery life, a headphone jack, a micro SD card slot, fingerprint scanner, and after using the S8, Bluetooth 5.0!
4. Bluetooth 5.0 is amazing. S8 is a first phone to come with this, and it’s awesome. I frequently use the ability to connect to two different speakers at once, for a surround-sound like experience in my room. You can also listen to the same music with your friend in a library, by connecting to two different headphones.
5. S8 is also the first phone to come with Gigabit LTE, which is nice for future-proofing the phone, but it doesn't quite help us yet.

PRO TIPS
1. Consider getting a tempered-glass screen protector (they’re better on S8 than on S7 Edge) and a Slickwraps/dbrand skin for the back. The skins make your phone look unique, improves grip, and it also helps cover up cracks if you’ve dropped your phone. Slickwraps frequently has discount promotions on their website, so watch out for that. Don’t use a case, enjoy the beautiful phone!
2. Bixby is useless, and if you’re like me, most “Smart” assistants are still generally not helpful and just raises privacy concerns. You can remap the Bixby button (as of April 2017): See https://www.xda-developers.com/3-applications-bypass-bixby-restriction/
3. General Android tip: Go to Settings, Developer Options, set Window/Transition/Animator animation scales to x0.5 to speed things up (Google this if you don’t know what I mean)
4. General AMOLED tip: Take advantage of black wallpapers to save battery life
5. Set screen resolution up to QHD. In my experience it barely affects battery life in everyday use. Going HD will significantly improve battery life if you are a heavy gamer, or use CPU intensive apps a lot.
6. If you really miss dual-camera set-ups in other phones, consider getting a separate smartphone camera lens kit that sells for ~$20. They’re less convenient than a built-in dual lens, but on the upside they’re much more versatile and fun.
7. If you are still not convinced whether to buy S8, then wait. Most phones (except iPhones and Pixels) drop prices relatively quickly, and you may be able to snatch one up cheap refurbished in auction sites.
8. Contrary to some reviews, the facial recognition and the iris scanner are reliable and fast. In my experience, how you register your face/iris determines how effective it will be. If you wear glasses, register with glasses on. Also, register under medium lighting conditions and not in extreme conditions. You want the phone to be able to recognize you under different environments.
Gorgeous & futuristic phone, industry-leading screen, excellent and reliable (rear AND front) camera, full-day battery, water and dust proof, wireless (fast) charging, and Bluetooth 5.0! On the downside, it won't receive timely software updates, and fingerprint scanner location is a minor setback.

Xiaomi Mi Sport Bluetooth Headset Review

For the past 2 years I have owned the Beats earbuds (not wireless) and was very satisfied with the quality with the exception of the fact that the buds always fell out when I was running. About a month ago, my Beats broke and after inquiring with their customer service, they told me I would have to pay $60 to get a pair of $100 headphones fixed, which I felt was absolutely ridiculous. After getting an Amazon gift card for Christmas, I decided not to spend the $200 on a pair of the wireless Beats and instead opted for the Xiaomi wireless earbuds instead. I am extremely happy with my decision! Not only did I save $160, but the Xiaomi headphones have good sound quality and I am very pleased with how long the battery lasts. I charged my headphones the first day I received them, and it's been a week using them almost everyday and there's still 60% battery life left on them. In addition, the headphones look great on the ear and are very light compared to some other wireless headphones I have tried in the past which is especially useful when I am doing strength training that involves a lot of up and down movements.
  • COMFORTABLE and SECURE FIT: With Ergonomic design and silicone ear hooks, Magicbuds Bluetooth Headphones are secure behind your ears and rest comfortably in the ear canal. Premium soft smooth silicone gel surface helps sweat proof. It is great for Gym, Running, Jogging, Hiking, Cycling, and impact Sports.
  • SUPERIOR SOUND and AMAZING VOLUME: With Advanced APTX tech, our in-ear design offers incredible sound quality with deep bass and crystal clear treble, no matter your taste in music. Works great for soundtracks, audio books, relaxing sounds, and even techno music.
  • NOISE REDUCTION: With CVC 6.0 technology, the Hussar Magicbuds Bluetooth Earbuds reduce background noise, so you can focus on your favorite music, no matter where you are.
  • BLUETOOTH V4.1 and UNIVERSAL CONNECTIVITY: We give you the power of Bluetooth V4.1 technology for seamless syncing to your favorite wireless devices, including iPhone, iPad, Android cell Phones, Windows Phones, and more up to 10 meters 33 feet.
  • HOURS OF LISTENING TIME and VOICE PROMPT: Magicbuds Bluetooth Headset can deliver up to 7 hours(MAX) of play time on a full charge. Voice prompt allows notification of incoming calls and phone numbers, so never miss a phone call.
These cost a bit more than some others on Amazon. However, the sayi\ng is true "You get what you pay for."
PROs
Over-the-ear hooks: There are a lot of Bluetooth earbuds available on Amazon that sound great, but don’t always stay in your ear while you’re running or working out. The over-the-ear hooks on these earbuds solve that issue. I did a quick test by running in place, doing jumping jacks, and doing push-ups, and the earbuds stayed in my ear without an issue.
Sound quality: The sound or these earbuds is great! When sealed into my ear canal, I get a good bass response and the music quality is very good. At higher volumes I did notice some bass distortion, but still very good sound quality overall.
Controls: There is no remote to flop around and hit your face. The controls are built-in to the earbuds. They are fairly easy to find and use while running, and make it easy to skip, rewind, and adjust the volume.
Design: The black and red design of these earbuds may remind you of a certain other, well-known brand. But at a fraction of the cost.
Built-in mic: If you receive an incoming call while using these earbuds, you can answer it thanks to the built-in microphone.Bluetooth 4.1: In additional to improved sound quality, Bluetooth 4.1 also has improved battery life for both your phone and the earbuds (as long as your phone is Bluetooth 4.1 compatible as well).
Xiaomi Mi Sport Bluetooth Headphones Waterproof Headset

CONS
It is a positve negative. I am reffering to their Noise Cancelling: Please note that these earbuds do a GREAT job of blocking out the noises around you. Thus, it is important to use caution if running near traffic or crowded areas and very important when driving or riding a bike.
I strongly reccomend to only use ONE EAR BUDa in these situations. You will still get quality phone calls and music at the same time it will provide the ability for you to be alert for outside sounds that you would hear if you are not wearing a headset.
Overall, I like the design and sound quality of these earbuds. I also like the secure fit that keeps these in place during my workout.

3 Best Cases for Samsung Galaxy S8+

Power your phone and show off your style. There's a whole range of cases and accessories made just for Galaxy S8+.

1. Defender Shockproof Protective Case for Samsung Galaxy S8+

  • SLIM, LIGHTWEIGHT DESIGN: Our premium-grade Galaxy S8 Case is lightweight, slim and ensures that your smartphone still fits comfortably in your pocket, purse or bag
  • PREMIUM PROTECTION: Your S8 is not just your lifeline to the outside world, it's an investment. Protect it with our shock resistant, scratch resistant Galaxy S8 hard back case
  • HIGH-QUALITY TPU: Featuring premium TPU, our phone case truly gives you the flexibility and mobility you need in a heavy duty case
  • ACCESSIBLE FEATURES: We've designed our Galaxy S8 case to give you uninterrupted access to your front and rear-facing cameras, volume buttons, and headphone port for easy access
Just got it in today, and the case feels great. It's very snug, has a good grip, and feels solid. Comes with two tempered glass screen protectors, though I haven't applied them (screen protectors generally ruin the glide feel on a touchscreen for me). Was skeptical since I'd never heard of the company before and saw no reviews on the product but am very pleased with how it turned out. Originally intended to get a Tech21 case but all the models they have for this phone are rather ugly. The design on the back of this adds a nifty effect as though the gold back is crystalized like rock candy. Haven't dropped the phone yet, so will update if that happens. But otherwise, would greatly recommend! Update: Decided to put the screen protector on. Glides really nicely, doesn't impede my swiping at all like most screen protectors I've used. Only quirk is that the screen protector doesn't cover the entire screen; there's about two hairs' width that isn't covered on the left and right sides. But the application kit was very handy, with alcohol wipes, microfiber, and a dust collector. Applied very easily, doesn't look likely to come off easily compared to the InvisibleShield screen protector (which ripped off my old iPhone the first time I pulled it out of my pocket).

2. Slim Leather Case Flip Cover for Samsung Galaxy S8+

  • VIEW FROM ANY ANGLE - The series wallet case can switched to a horizontal position and act as a firm stand; perfect for entertainment or streaming. Watching a movie or video on your Galaxy S8+ will be easier with this cover case
  • CONVENIENT TO USE - Full protection. Precise cutouts for speakers, earpiece, camera and other functional ports allow to access to all ports and functions easily, without removing the case
This is a lovely case. It's hard to find a genuine leather case in less than $50! It comes in wonderful packaging and smells like new leather right out of the box. The camera cut out is perfect. The magnetic closure works pretty well. If you would like for something that will stay closed I would go with the other case that buttons or closes more securely. You can put cards in this case. They fit fine and they don't slip out.
However, if you put cards it's pretty noticeable. But like I said, for the quality I would definitely recommend and even purchase the case again. As a woman I have to carry a purse/wallet most days. So I'm not as bothered by not putting cards in my phone case. I've had the case for about a month now and the wear on it is great. The leather has only gotten softer. I ordered the black because most of my purses and handbags are either black or white.

3. England Series Leather Cover Case for Samsung Galaxy S8+

  • One-piece soft case consists of leather and flexible TPU, two materials synthesis; Premium leather on the back and shock absorbent TPU inside
  • Exact-fit, slim profile does not add any bulk to your device without sacrificing protection, slim-fit soft body just enough to protect and nothing more; Offers good grip and comfort with its leather outside finish
  • Raised lip lift screen off flat surfaces to avoid scratches; Camera cutout is deep to protect camera from scratching or touching the ground
  • Precise cutting and enlarged ports fit most cables; Easy to press to all buttons with responsive button cover; Easily to install and remove, without damaging or scratching the phone body
I got the color black which looks really nice. Doesn't look overly fake. I've seen the brown one before, and it looks nice apart from the mixture of black with it, makes the leather look a bit faker. Case easily installs onto iPhone. People comment it seems loose, and while it does feel that way, I haven't ever had the S8+ slip out of it. The case does recess the screen just a bit, so if you drop it on the ground you're not getting direct impact on glass. I bought the Spigen S8+ glass screen protector, and there's still a lip with this case. That being said, this case won't match a Speck Candyshell or an Otterbox. I've had a good rap sheet with my past smartphones, so I elect for smaller profile cases, especially when you're dealing with a bigger phone like the S8+. The case is more or less just so I have something grippier to hold onto, since cell phones are super slippery without a case.

Best Mini RC Quadcopter Drone with Camera

Ever want to try playing around with drones but are put off by their large sizes and hefty price tags? Worry not – the CX-10W is the perfect entry device for the budding drone pilot!

Good Things Come in Small Packages

CX-10W is a drone that keeps things as small – and affordable – as possible. You get a tiny drone that's only 62x62x25mm and weighs a mere 17 grams. It's so small you could literally place the RC Quadcopter in your palms and curl your fingers around the entire unit. Yet despite its miniature size, the CX-10W is one mini drone that is much cheaper compared to its larger, bulkier cousins. You just pair it to your Android or iOS smartphone – further reducing the costs on your end.

A Fun Gift or a Reliable Scout

The small size coupled with the affordable price of the CX-10W makes it a very attractive option for first-time drone owners. It's small enough to be carried around and affordable enough to experiment with without having to worry too much about breaking a valuable piece of equipment. Its six-axis gyroscope helps boost the stability of the quadcopter, making it a fun and easy-to-handle toy for both adults and children alike to enjoy!
The CX-10W, however, can also prove to be a pretty useful device in the right situations. The 0.3-megapixel camera it comes with is no slouch; capable of delivering some nice footage to the user handling the controls with its FPV. While the drone works anywhere between 15 to 30 meters away, its small size lets the user peer into tight confines a person won't be able to squeeze through. The CX-10W can also fly straight up and significantly increase the user's sight range – perfect for the tech-savvy outdoorsman. Couple this with its extremely small size, and you have a pretty useful device for a variety of applications.

CX-10W Mini Camera Drone
This was SUCH a hit with my 50 year old, Norwegian bachelor farmer brother-in-law. It is simple enough to be operated by a fairly non-techy sort of person, and after a learning curve, is great fun to fly. My brother in law was able to take some pretty detailed video of first the living room (including individual thread colors in the carpet when it landed--pretty amazing detail) to a fairly impressive aerial shot of the property and sort of panoramic shots around the yard. He is hoping to get good enough at flying it to be able to check out the roof on the barn, see how the crops are doing, etc., and I believe he will get there. My six year old nephew was eager to try it, and with some help was able to fly it fairly well.
I do have to say, this thing is TINY as in, it sits in the palm of your hand!! I didn't realize when I ordered it, that it was so tiny, so my heart sank a little when we opened it. But when he downloaded the app and started flying it, I was really quite impressed with its quality for the price! The video shots in particular are truly as good as the ones he takes on his cell phone, and I love that no extra SD card or cumbersome USB is required. This little drone obviously can't compete with the pricier models and bigger models, but for basic use, it really can't be beat. Because of its tiny size, it is pretty sensitive to slight changes in navigation, and I was reminded of my (professor emeritus) dad trying to teach me to drive a stick-shift, and uncharacteristically hysterically screaming "GRADUAL ADJUSTMENTS!! INCREMENTAL CHANGES!!!", which you want to employ here.
I did receive this nifty little drone at a discount in exchange for taking the time to write an objective review. I take my reviews seriously and will only provide accurate and honest feedback; I still have to pay for the items I receive and review, and I do test things and consider them from the same standpoint as you do. I am not connected to this company (nor any of the companies of products that I review) in any way. Sometimes I review a product and recommend it, but I also write reviews where I don't recommend a product--a discount for the purchase is by no means a bribe or incentive towards a "good" review for me (as you can see by some of my other reviews). It truly depends on the item and its quality and usefulness to me personally. I rely heavily on reviews written by others to guide me towards the correct purchases for me and my family, therefore I write my reviews with the same eye for those details for you as well.

Yellow Sticky Traps for White Flies, Aphids, Fungus Gnats, Leaf Miners, Black Flies, Thrips

These are so much better than those annoying spiral ones that you hang and then you cuss alot when you get caught in them. I have actually put one of these up in my kitchen only removing one side of the sticky and putting on my wall with a thumb tack. It has work well to catch the occasional nasty gnat that likes to fly around while I am trying to cook. I also put some outside near the door on our back patio. They have caught an abundance of insects, keeping them from coming in the house and also from "bugging" us while we try to enjoy the evenings. I place one near a light and another nearer to the ground by the door. They are dual sided if you wanted to hang from a tree or something outside but I have only used one side of mine. They are fairly big so they catch a lot before they need changed:) These things are great and with 20 to a pack they should last a couple of summers! I am very happy with this product and would recommend.
  • Specially designed for flying plant pests that like yellow color and easily trap them.
  • Made of Non-toxic material, controlling pests in a more ECO friendly and economical way.
  • Great for capturing aphids, leaf miners, fungus gnats, thrips, white flies, black flies, midges.
  • Dimension: 6*8 inches; Pack of 20 pcs; Wire ties included.
  • KINDLY NOTE - This product is for trapping flying plant insect only, good for outdoor plant or houseplant, but not applicable for other home pest in house / kitchen / garage like fruit flies, mosquitos and bugs.
I had fungus gnats infestation and these yellow sticky trap saved my little garden! I learned my lesson now and know that there is no quick fix for this issue. But you can be strategic when it comes to gnats as you need to separate your focus on the adult gnats and their eggs. First, do not over water your garden as gnats love and lay their eggs in wet soil. Second, use these sticky traps in the areas that are crowded with adult gnats (in my case they were flying in their weird way above my plants). Third, add hydrogen peroxide to the water when you are watering your infested plants as fungus gnat larvae will die on contact with the hydrogen peroxide. Fourth, sit back and let the adult gnats get trapped by the stickies (thus, they wont be able to fly and lay more eggs) and the baby ones to die in dehydration (with watering less) and on contact with hydrogen peroxide. This is by far the cheapest and most healthy (organic) why I was able to get rid of my fungus gnats infestation. Thanks for reading my review and I hope it has helped you in some way :);
Easy to handle and count insects without getting sticky. These yellow sticky traps attract a broad spectrum of flying insects, including: aphids, whiteflies, thrips, leafhoppers, leafminers, and moths. Long lasting traps are weatherproof, and come with a wire twist to easily hang on plants or branches.

Humane Live Animal Two-Door Mouse Cage Trap

Bought this to catch a little mouse that's taken up residence in our garage. Didn't even know he was THERE until I put a plant that needed repotting out in the garage for a day till I could get around to repotting it. The next day, my plant was GONE (eaten) and there was dirt on the floor from the animal's digging.
What to do? NO WAY am I going to set a conventional mousetrap and kill a mouse and then empty the trap. Nope. Not happening.
I remembered seeing these at TAGreat.com & ordered it. Set the trap the day after I got it & CAUGHT the little guy within about 4 hours of setting it (I checked the trap hourly; used 2 kibbles of dry cat food for bait).
He was pretty nervous, so I covered the trap with a paper towel while I carried him out to a hedgerow, where I set him free (instructions said to minimize human contact so as to not stress the animal--I agree). Having read another reviewer's experience of a frightened mouse running up their arm, I planned ahead & put the trap in the hedgerow, on the ground, pointed so that no matter which direction he ran, it wouldn't be toward me. Then I just took off the paper towel & pressed down on the main trigger so both doors opened simultaneously. My little guy cautiously poked his nose out of the trap, took a couple of sniffs of air, & bolted like a shot.
Trap quality is excellent and it's very easy to set, once you get the "hang" of it. Just press down on the main trigger arm, make sure your 2 locking arms for the doors are positioned at the tops of the doors, bait the pivoting bait bar inside, then position the "baiting bar" over your "main trigger" bars. Easier than it sounds; you'll get printed instructions & photos in the box.
Highly recommended! And it will make you feel good to use a compassionate solution to your mouse problem.
  • Constructed of sturdy rust-resistant wire mesh with steel reinforcements for long life and galvanized for maximum resistance to rust and corrosion
  • Mesh openings help prevent escapes and stolen bait. Trigger rod is located outside of the trap so animal cannot damage it while in the trap
  • Two gravity-action doors allow an animal to enter from either direction; sensitive trigger ensures quick, secure capture
  • Solid door and handle guard protect the user during transportation, while smoothed internal edges protect and prevent injuries to animals
  • Ideal for catching: mice, shrews, and similar-size nuisance animals
Have a question? Leave a comment & I'll be happy to help you if I can.
---------------------------
UPDATE 9/22/15 Evening: Uh-oh. On a lark, I re-set the trap this afternoon. Just checked it 10 minutes ago. I caught ANOTHER one (smaller). Let her go & set the trap AGAIN. How many might we have? We'll see...
UPDATED UPDATE 9/24/16: OK. I did not know we had mice in the garage. Thanks to this trap, I've caught and released FOUR (Mama, Papa, & 2 cute babies). The trap's been set all day today & no takers, so maybe that was the extent of the family. I've learned one other tip: set the trap during the DAY so you can release during DAYLIGHT. Unless you don't mind setting mice free IN THE DARK. Personally, I can't bear to leave them caged once I've caught them, so I like to release as soon as they're caught. GREAT SYSTEM; most highly recommended for its utility and ease of use!
UPDATE #3 2/16/17: GUESS WHAT? Mice can run LOTS faster than humans can walk. I'd re-set the trap yesterday afternoon & didn't catch anything. Till 10:30 at NIGHT. Remember my advice about not setting the trap after dark? I didn't (remember). I should have sprung the trap at dark. But I didn't. So when I did one last check of the trap last night---SURPRISE!---I caught another one! And since it was late and very dark, I decided to just let him go in the front yard. Oops. He ran through the yard, down the driveway, and back into the garage before I could walk even 5 paces. Learn from me : ) DON'T DO THAT. Because, now I have to deal with a EDUCATED MOUSE. One who, having returned to the garage, now realizes the trap is a TRAP. I may have to upgrade my bait; time will tell : )
I still most highly recommend this mouse trap--it works!

Best Vehicle Car Mount Holder Phone Cradle for Smartphone

The Car mount, smartphone charger and holder has a silicone base to allow for stability and no slippages of the holder. You can charge your phone on the go, while using it for navigation or hands free calling. The holder is adjustable to fit all sizes of cell phones and is flexible for conformity to most car dashes. The holder base provides stability to be able to touch the cell phone screen without excess movement.
  • The silicone backing of the rubberized car mount holds your phone firmly in place
  • Allows for phones to be used for navigation or dialing without excess motion
  • Convenient magnetic charging port with super fast micro USB 2 in 1 cable.
  • Charge your phone easily and quickly while traveling
  • The charger is magnetically held in place and moves for tangle free cords,Adjustable for all cell phones sizes and car dash styles
I have tried various designs of vehicle phone holders from ones that attach to an AC vent to others that make use of a suction cup that secures it to the windshield. My favorite and most convenient phone holders so far are the ones that I can quickly place my phone on without fumbling with them too much in order to get them to securely hold the phone. This Remax silicone dash pad phone holder is now one of my favorites because I can start up a GPS map app and then in a matter of seconds place the phone between the cradle legs and be confident that my phone won't going flying off somewhere in the car when driving. Something to take note is that the cradle legs may not secure a phone in a thick case. The space that fits the phone is only 3/8 in / 10 mm wide but will stretch somewhat because it is made of soft rubber. I'm mentioning this because it is an important thing to consider before purchasing this item.
The greatest feature of this holder that it doesn't need any sticky adhesives to stay secure on the dashboard which may ruin the finish. Since the holder dash pad is made of silicone rubber that has a glossy smooth finish on the bottom, it has a tenacious grip on most surfaces which includes most dashboards. I say most because some dashboards have certain finishes and textures that may not allow the holder to grip as well as it should and then others sometimes have features such as a section that has compartment that can hold items that would prevent this holder from resting on the dashboard surface properly. I have one such vehicle like that so this holder didn't work as well on the dashboard in that vehicle but it worked well in my remaining vehicles.
The one standout feature of this holder beside the non-adhesive silicone grip is the magnetic charging cable. This feature is ingenious because it allows for you to easily remove the phone from the holder and use the phone without the cable exerting stress on the phone charging port when handling it or having to unnecessarily disconnect or reconnect the cable for whatever reason. However, it isn't without faults because the magnetic end wasn't designed as well on it should have been. The magnetic button is magnetized to a three pin pad on the dash pad that supplies the electric connection when contacted to each other. The magnet is supposed to keep it secure but it isn't as strong as it should be because at times it will disconnect and reconnect during the course of driving. This tends to happen when driving on rough roads such as pothole laden and other poorly maintained roads. Thankfully, the magnet on my holder seems somewhat more strong than some other reviewers of this product because for the most part the magnetic button does stay connected with little problem.
The charging end includes an Apple Lightning and Micro-B USB plugs. One plug that is missing and I feel should have been included is a USB type-c plug. Since this holder is a newly released product and USB type-c is starting to replace the old Micro-B USB type plugs on more and more newly released mobile devices in the market, why it wasn't included is perplexing because it would of future proofed this product in the coming years when USB type-c eventually completely replaces Micro-B USB.
Lastly, I like the matte black color because it doesn't standout in comparison to the dashboard with exception of the matte red logo that shows up more readily on the windshield because of the brighter color but not by any means enough to distract from driving because of the small size. If you have a phone or phone in a case with a bright color then that won't really matter anyways.
Overall I really like this phone holder because it is convenient to use compared to some other phone holders. The design is unique and innovative but it does need some improvement as per the reasons stated above.

5 Best Amazon Fire HD 8 Tablet 2016 Cases

Butterfly Flip Cover Case for Fire HD 8 (6th Generation, 2016)

It's thin, lightweight and snaps on beautifully to it's intended device. This is my 5th Fintie smartshell. After ordering black ones for my ipad and Fire8hd I found it difficult to locate them around the house. Therefore repurchased bright graphic ones and they're found immediately and will be saving the black ones for when traveling.
Great unit at such a phenomenal price. My first one lasted over (3) years with daily usage and it still works fine but there was wee bit of separation of materials along 2" of one of the edges which is completely understandable after that much use i.e.thousands of times. I could have used my old one for another 1-2,000 times but at these prices just thought it a treat to upgrade. I look forward to new designs coming out (hopefully periodically) because at these prices one can enjoy a new look even though structurally it will still be functioning just fine and look like new.

Shockproof Case for Amazon Fire HD 8 (6th Generation, 2016)

So far so good. One of the things that worried me about the new fire hd8 is the fact that it is so thin and slippery. With this case on it takes care of the thinness and also adds grip. Putting on the case was not hard at all, but I am familiar with installing full cases on other tablets. The front is a hard plastic that has a screen protector attached to it. This goes over the front of the tablet and hugs the sides of it. Around the back and over the sides goes the softer plastic rear cover. This cover is hard and not flimsy at all. After I put it on I felt much more at ease giving the tablet to my 4 and 3 year old without worrying that they might break it. The kick stand is also a nice addition and adds a movie or typing mode to the tablet. Over all I am very well satisfied with this cover. Also, I would like to add that I did NOT get this product for free. I purchased it with my own funds. When doing research for a case for my tablet one of the reasons why I decided on this one is because it adds corner protection, is not ugly and is affordable. There were some very nice looking flip cases where you slid the tablet in and it closes like a book, but none of those adds corner protection.

Camouflage Flip Cover Case for Fire HD 8 (6th Generation, 2016)

A tablet that allow a lot of memory to be used means that it is used daily. I find it small enough to fit in my jeans pocket which is key to taking it to meals. I don't worry about falling asleep as the closure puts the tablet to sleep.
I just got this case for my new Kindle Fire8hd- and it's perfect! The case is lightweight, design is very pretty! The back of the case is a hard/ rigid plastic that my kindle fits into perfectly, it kind of " snaps " into place. The top of the case has 2 "indentations, which make it so the front can fold into thirds. Both front and back outside are a vinyl type material which is sturdy, but easily wiped off, the inside of the case is lined with a very thin and soft lint free type of material that feel somewhat like felt. The sleep feature works great, on closing the case the kindle instantly hybernates, which really saves power. My kindle is protected, without adding bulk and weight. I really love this case, and the tree design too! I have had it for about a month, have carried it in my purse, car, and recently on a long plane trip in my carry on bag- the case has held up very well so far, with no problem or damage to the case from being shoved in my purse. I would definately recommend this case!

Leather Standing Case for Fire HD 8 (6th Generation, 2016)

This an excellent protective case, none better that I have seen. The magnetic turn on, turn off feature is most handy. The loop to hold a stylus is another useful addition. The case folds in several clever ways to hold your Fire8 in different positions, very nice. BUT, there is another very useful feature that this case does not have! When using this Fire8 in public, say a doctor's waiting room, it is rude to turn up the sound so you can hear the audio. You can expect to attract stares if not comments from those around you. An earphone can prevent antagonizing others, but there is no convenient place to carry your earphone with you! This excellent case could easily facilitate a place to wind up the cord and keep the ear buds contained along side your Fire8, making a complete kit, ready to go with you where ever that may be. How about it MoKo, can you add this important feature to this otherwise wonderful case? This challenge is for you.
The only thing I am not happy about is that when I ordered it, there were a lot less designs, so I just ordered Black, which is fine but not my happiest choice. Now I see there a sharp Map design which is awesome. Had it been available, I would have bought it instead of this; why couldn't they offer all colors/styles at launch? Now I have to decide whether it is worth the cost of another to get a color I really like.

Tree Flip Cover Case for Fire HD 8 (6th Generation, 2016)

This is not the case we wanted to get. We wanted another like the link I've included, but the new generation of Kindle didn't have the equivalent case yet (not that I could find at least). So we settled for this case. I'd still like the screen protector, but even so it's not a disappointment. The case is very stylish. The image is deeply ingrained in the case and has stood up to a 12 year old boy's use of it so far. He loves to just play with the folds of the case and stand it up in various ways (because he's a chip off the old block like that). It has better impact resistance than it looks like it would.
If you want better protection, find the proper version of the one I linked. If you want something with style that protects pretty well, this is a great option.
Pros:
Sturdy
Stunning
Functional
Lives up to the description in every way
Worth every penny
Deceptively cushioned
Cons:
No screen protector
Not waterproof (like the other one I prefer)
TAGreat.com offers you a wide array of the latest and best Fire HD 8 2016 Cases.

Amazon Fire HD 8 Review (6th Generation, 2016 release)

I am thrilled with the new Fire HD8 - even before it gets Alexa! At that time I will likely be ecstatic! I am far from a tablet novice - I had the original fire; the $50 fire; the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3; and the Galaxy Tab S 10.5. My phones have always been Samsung flagship phones, currently the S7 Edge. I say this to show that I 1) have experience with kindle fires, and 2) generally tend to have high standards for my most used devices -- I KNOW what is a good tablet and what is a so-so tablet. Admittedly, my previous fires have been "so-so", but I wanted something inexpensive yet adequate to take places with me instead of my Galaxy Tab S 10.5.

Before receiving it, I wasn't sure about the low resolution (1280 x 800) on this tab, but honestly, it's not a problem! Sure, it's not bright and beautiful like my Tab S ... but its crisp, clean, and clear. The colors are sufficient, but not vibrant, sadly. (The comparison photo below is the HD8 (2016) and Fire 7 (2015).

Sound is quite good, with good volume. The speakers are on the left side when portrait, on top (or bottom) in landscape. I prefer them on top. The sound is good enough that you can enjoy a movie without having to use earphones, unless in a noisy environment, in which case you would likely want to use earphones anyway. Music was okay, but I prefer listening through bluetooth headphones for premium quality, and it delivers there also.

Whatever chip is used for the cpu is zippy and responsive. I have tested and used a variety of apps, games, and functions in trying this tablet out, and there has been no lag whatsoever, no hesitation, no hangups. Using the silk browser, surfing the web was quick and easy. At most, there was a half second lag for some graphics heavy pages (note that my high speed router is in my room, but even so, the $50 fire lags, not so this one!)

The only feature that is "less than" on this tablet, are the cameras. The rear facing camera is only 2mp, and photos with it are about what I expected ...slightly pixelated, washed out colors, print is readable but not crisp. It's usable in a pinch, when the alternative is no picture/video, or for reference/documentation; but it's not what you would want to use for travel or family photos that are of importance. For reference photos, pet photos, posting to facebook, it's adequate, but "just".

Battery life is excellent. I multi-task and heavily use tablets, with a lot of twitter (have found it to be battery intensive on all devices); a lot of web use, music streaming, texting (on messenger) and watching you tube. I've already gone through two battery cycles (100% to 15%) and the first one was ten hours (actual use time) and the second nearly 11, so it's very close to the maximum advertised.

Overall, this is a super tablet, and the bargain price makes it that much more so. It has exceeded my expectations and hopes in most all functions, and will be a welcome alternative for throwing in my backpack.

UPDATE: October 30, 2016 The Alexa update was pushed to my device on Oct 29th (verified with amazon customer service) and it "bricked" my tablet, rendering it unusable, will not turn on. After several hours on phone with four reps at customer service, it is being returned for a refund. Replacements are always refurbished items, so I chose refund instead. I still think it's a great tablet, but sometimes there are issues, and in the interest of honesty and full disclosure, needed to add this.

2nd UPDATE: November 10, 2016 Okay, apparently this is the "Goldilocks" of my tablets (just right!) and I could not live without it. By the 10th day without it, I was really, REALLY missing it, so I ordered a new one, this time investing in the extended warranty "just in case". I received the new one today, everything is perfect with it, and it feels so, SO good to have a Fire HD8 back in my hands. I know it sounds silly, but even though the specs of this are less than one of my tablets, and slightly better than two 7" ones - the 7" ones now feel too small, and the 10.5" one I have is just too large for most uses. The 8" Fire is just the right size for everything short of computer replacement. In the few hours of use, I've checked everything out and all is well. I will, however, update again, in about two months, to make sure this review is kept current. Right now, despite the issue with one tablet, it's still at least 4.5 stars in my book, but I won't hesitate to revise if that changes.

3rd Update: December 31, 2016 It's now been 7 weeks with my second Fire HD8 tablet. All is working well, and I now rate it a solid 4 stars. I use the playstore and several google apps on my device, and there are no issues. I also ad several apps that frequently updated throughout the day, like periscope, facebook, twitter, news aggregators. With all of these apps, the tablet began lagging badly at least once a day, sometimes twice, and even with an app like Cleansweep on it, I would have to reboot. Finally, I uninstalled periscop and the news aggregators; but kept facebook and twitter and a few others similar. That made a huge difference in the lag. There just isn't enough RAM to handle heavy updating every half hour or so, nor does the tablet recover ram well. I also run 10 email accounts on the tablet (I use "bluemail") and set most of them to sync once daily, just two of them sync every hour. With the tweaks I have done, I am happy with the Fire HD8, and it runs smoothly most of the time.
Fire HD 8 (6th Generation, 2016 release)
My HD8 is the 32gb option, with offers. Most users will likely be fine with 16gb and perhaps an added 32gb or 64gb SD card. However, I know how I use my devices, so went with the 32gb option, as well as a 64gb micro SD card. In the 48 hours I have had my new Fire, it has become my device of choice, even over my $500 samsung (more convenient size). I use the large samsung tablet as a computer replacement; whereas the new Fire replaces my two 7 inch tablets as the "go to" device.

Best Mini RC Quadcopter Drone 2017

This is a great starter drone. I bought it for my 7 year old and he loves it. It's relatively easy to fly as well.
  • Headless mode:Headless mode, a function through which the aircraft will consider the direction opposite to that of the remote control as the correct one by default when it flies to a height where the operator is not able to judge the direction of the aircraft head with bare eyes, so that he/she can go on with the remaining positions.
  • 3D Roll:Just press the button on transmitter, and you get 360-degrees Flip, continuous roll for perfect action and wonderful performance.
  • 6-Axis gyroscope: 6-Axis gyroscope adopted for strong stability, allowing for various flight movements implementation with stronger wind resistance and ease of control.
  • LED Lights: The creatively designed LED lights are fitted for night flight possibilities, leaving a beautiful landscape in the night sky.
  • Function:a key return/ Up / down / left turn / right turn / forward / back / left side fly / right side fly / speed file/ 360 ° flip / headless mode / memory function
JJRC Mini RC Quadcopter
Pros:
- The controller works pretty well and is small which is great for kids.
- Battery life is reasonable (5 minutes give or take).
- Extra batteries and a multi-charger are very cheap (for around $10 you can get 4 more batteries and a charging station that charges them all at the same time).
- It seems durable (it has taken some hard spills and ended up on a roof and in a tree and it's still ticking).
- "3D roll" works like a charm.
- It includes extra propellors.
Cons:
- The documentation is slightly confusing (to supplement the documentation, look up YouTube vids on this drone! There are quite a few out there).
- The one-click return to home is pretty much useless as far as I can tell (it's not a feature I care about and I wasn't expecting it to work on such a cheap drone anyway, hence 5 stars; but they really should just remove it).
- Since it's so light it can be unstable outside if there is any wind. Works great indoors but be cautious about outdoor use.

In summary: if you are looking for a cheap starter drone for yourself or a child in your life, this is a great place to start. Look up YouTube videos if you want to see if in action. There are lots of video reviews out there!

Best Easy Set Mouse Snap Trap

Newly designed Easy Set Snap Trap offers PMPs increased capturing power with no false triggers. With its sleek, easy-to-use design, this all-new aggressive snap trap comes with a more responsive and precise trigger mechanism, making it faster and easier to set than traditional wood traps. The new snap trap also features an integrated bait cup to hold a mouse attractant or bait, providing even better results. Made of durable plastic, it is strong enough to kill a mouse, yet it's safer to use around children and non-target animals. Place High Quality Snap Trap alone or back-to-back in pairs where mice travel. Mice enter the trap from the front or sides. High Quality Snap Trap's no-touch disposal is safe and easy
  • state-of-the-art mechanical trap, it sets with one hand in one easy motion -- as easy as opening a clothespin.
  • Add Provoke Mice to make these traps twice as attractive.
  • Use High Quality Mini Snap Trap alone or in pairs with the opening toward the wall.
  • Place the trap along walls where mice travel, in cupboards or whereever mice are present.
  • Simply pinch the two ends together to release the mouse and the trap is automatically reset to be used over and over again.
Easy Set Plastic Mouse Snap Traps
Some notes about using these traps. As I say below, the bait cup can be removed from the bottom of the trap with a quarter-turn twist. Whatever you use for bait, do not let it project above the edge of the cup or get on the sides of the cup. That could allow a mouse to eat some, or all, of the bait without springing the trap, or springing it inappropriately. The traps should be placed on a flat surface either at 90 degrees to the run and an inch away from the wall or with 2 traps back to back (with the bait facing outwards) inside the run itself. Either method allows a mouse to enter the trap from any direction on the run. If used inside the house, traps should be placed about 8-10 feet apart or wherever you see the most activity. I have caught mice in surprising places when the traps are placed properly.
I have also had no success with the Provoke attractant. A combination of peanut butter and chocolate chip cookies (crushed) seems to work best. I keep the mixture pressed down into the bait cup and slightly concave so that it does not project from the top. The traps are easy to set by just squeezing the unbaited ends together, like a clothespin. The trigger should just snap into place. The nice thing about the traps is that they can give a clean kill from 3 directions, the front and either side, because of the serrated edge. It doesn't just squeeze. It grips.
I think the reason some of these traps fail to snap is because bait material gets caught in the trigger mechanism. The trigger paddle has to be kept scrupulously clean. That is why removing the cup and filling it outside the trap is important. The top of the cup should be leveled, or even dimpled, and the outside should be wiped clean before replacing it in the trap. A messy trigger area = no mice caught.
Also, be sure the trap is the proper size. There are mouse T-Rex traps and there are rat T-Rex traps. Neither one is good for the other species.
These traps provide a really quick kill for mice; but are surprisingly non-lethal to human hands. I have an aged mother who thinks nothing of sticking her fingers in an armed trap and luckily she came out with nothing more than a bruise. On the other hand, mice are dispatched so quickly, there is no time for reaction (as long as the trap is placed properly perpendicular to the wall and about an inch away from it). The saw tooth pattern grabs and holds with minimal spring tension. It is easy to dispose of the mouse with just one hand - if you don't mind actually seeing the critter as you do so.
Also, I don't remember seeing anyone mention it; but the bait cups can be removed from the bottom of the trap with a quick twist and filled to the proper level without having to work around the trigger mechanism. That makes it easy to empty stale bait and refill the cup outside of the trap proper and just replace it back inside for setting. The trap stays relatively clean of stray bait. I use a peanut butter base with a tiny bit of chocolate chip cookie stuck in it for extra attractiveness. If there is a mouse anywhere nearby, it will definitely go for the peanut-chocolate combo.
In spite of all that, I still wouldn't put these where pets or children could access them. There are enclosed bait stations that have room for these traps in them and force the mouse to approach in the correct position for a clean kill. Use those if toddlers or animals are around.
Also, these are kill traps. If you want to catch and release, consider a live trap.
