Nillkin USB Type C to USB 2.0 Flat Cable Review

The cable does a good job of charging your new USB C devices with a legacy charger. You will not get the rapid charging that get with a USB C charger and cable combination, however most of us have more standard/QC chargers lying around then USB C anyways, so that works out perfectly. It's the perfect length to use on the couch or at the desk.
I received this product for free from Nillkin-E in return for an honest, unbiased review. However, I previously purchased this similar cable from Nillkin-E (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B010VFFU1W), used it to charge my phone almost every night since 11/18/2015, and have experienced no problems whatsoever.
The cable does a good job of charging your new USB C devices with a legacy charger. I wanted to focus on few highlights that I liked about this cable and specifically wanted to call out that's it's safe to use. Let me say that again, it's safe to use on a regular charger. It has the correct resistor built in so that your USB C devices don't try pulling more power than the charger is capable of providing and frying your equipment. I've attached a few photos to show that it doesn't pull too much and that it properly shows charging vs rapid charging.
The other thing I really love is the connection on the USB C side - it has what they call a stair step on it. This helps fit into more cases, those that tend to be tight to begin with as the mould isn't just one length, it's got a little ledge on it to support the metal connector but it's not as wide as the rest, so it's still supporting it.
And of course it's nylon, so it's a strong tough cable that can take the rough daily use that we put our cables through, but yet it's still flexible.
The cable I’m reviewing today appears to have the same excellent build quality. Its USB Type-C connector isn’t oversized, so when I connect it through the cutout in my RhinoShield CrashGuard, it only barely pushes the top edge of the bumper upward, less than the USB Type-C to USB Type-C cable that came with my 6P. The braided covering on the cable really makes it feel durable. I have a cat that likes to chew on USB cables that I leave sitting out, so I truly appreciate the stronger covering.
Other than that, there’s not much more to say. It charges my phone, though obviously not as fast as the USB-Type C to USB Type C cable paired with the charger included with my 6P. But that’s not why I got into Nillkin-E USB Type C cables. I use these cables where extra length and durability are more important than fast charging time. This cable also transfers files from my computers to my 6P with no issues. So it’s a cable that works as expected, and it gives me peace of mind knowing Nillkin-E products have earned Benson Leung’s seal of approval for quality cables built to spec.
Finally, both of my Nillkin-E cables came with little warranty booklets. They’re covered by a 12-month warranty once they’re registered online. I’ve never pursued warranty replacement on a USB cable before, but it only contributes to the peace of mind I already get from using Nillkin-E cables.

This little unit is pretty amazing. I have a 2012 Nissan Altima with a Kenwood DNX571HD. This little mount goes perfectly right above my radio. The mount pulls the phone very close to the vent it almost looks like My LG G3 was built in. The mount itself has a very good magnetic pull and the little metal plates are so thin it fit right behind my battery cover with no extra buldge! It also features two sizes I actually mounted it on the little vent lever so I can move it side to side and up and down with the vent. This accessory securely holds my IPhone 6 to the car's air vents. It was easy to add to my phone, I simply slid the magnetic pads in between the phone and case. There were three different magnetic pads, so it was easy to keep the pads away from the camera, etc. The magnetic pads are thin and do not make the phone much heavier. The clip is sturdy and securely attaches to the car's air vents. The angle is perfect to see phone while driving. This is perfect for those hands free states, so that I can see directions and follow the law to be hands free (I'm in CA a lot). The phone remained securely attached for all bumps and turns while driving. The only negative is that this accessory diverts air coming from the vents. I live in the Phoenix area and I can see this being removed in the summer when air is a must! Overall a great addition to my phone and car!
Works very well. The magnet is so strong, you really need to put it inside a case. If you attach the metal to the phone and magnet to the metal, it will be difficult, not impossible, but difficult to separate them. I removed the case of my iPhone a taped the metal plate inside it. The tape is only there to keep the plate from sliding around. You don't have to use the tape. You could use the adhesive backed disk (provided) instead. With the thickness of the case between the magnet and the plate, the phone is held securely but is easily removed. Best way to remove is to slide off sideways instead of pulling off directly. The base of the magnet has two different thickness grooves to slip over the slats of your A/C vent for a good fit. The only negative (small) is the phone blocks a portion of the vent and the magnet's base somewhat restricts adjustment of the vent. This unit allows me to put my phone in one secure place so I don't have to unbuckle my seatbelt to get into my pants pocket to answer the phone. You can remove the entire unit with magnet attached and use it as a stand on a tabletop. Very convenient. I bought two of these so I don't have move the unit from car to car. Now I still have one metal plate and 4 adhesive backed disks to use if ever needed. BTW. The entire unit has a soft rubber-like covering, so no scratches.
Without a doubt, a universal magnetic cell phone holder is a good investment. There are many different types available in the market, so be sure to test out a few before purchasing one.

I've used couple of dash car mount and this car smartphone dash holder/mount is totally new to me. I'm pleased and impressed with this mount holder because of its unique concept and I like the dual charging cable for iOS and Android phone in a single cable and that looks very neat and convenient so you don’t have to use two different cable if you have a device that uses micro USB, with its magnetic charging connection it is sturdy an has pretty strong magnet and can be rotates and still held in place with no issue on charging. The magnetic cable length is 8 inches end to end and the USB cable is 42 inches which is long enough to reach my cigarette USB charger.
The mount holder is made of silicon rubber with lots of mounting holes with rubber stand which has unlimited configuration and you can do your own configuration to work with your device. The base basically looks like a sticky pad with bunch of holes on it. The base on the bottom sticks well on my dash board and it stays in place.
This is a handy cell phone or GPS holder to keep your device upright on the dashboard so that you can easily see it when you are driving. It took a few minutes to put it together, you have to put the two side holders into the pad by pushing little plastic pieces through the pads. It takes a few minutes and a bit of dexterity. The pad sits on the dashboard and although I thought it would be tacky orsomething it is not.It does not stick to the dashboard at all. It seems like it might fall off but it doesn't I tried it on the freeway and on some very windy roads on the way to the beach. It never fell off even when I whipped around a turn or two. You can easily move it to another location depending if you are reading your device from the driver's seat or the passenger's seat.It has a charger that charges your device while you are using it. The charger seemed somewhat slow on my tests.It is a different type of connection than I have seen before. The charger connects via a magnet. This seems to do the trick but I have pulled out the cord by mistake a couple of times as it is not firmly attached.The charger has two ports, one for new iphones and one for other standard phones like Samsung. I am using it with a Samsung Note 4 with a pretty heavy duty case on it and it does fit. I purchased this product at a reduced price in return for an honest review.

The product is a good idea. It satisfied my needs that I have been looking for something that will hold my phone or GPS without sliding off my dash during every turn. And this is it. Its unique design really makes my car more fashionable and creative. After I received the beautiful packages, I installed it all by myself. All in all, it is easy to apply. it is made of super flexible silicone material. It was a little heavy and felt well built. You? better wipe off your dash before putting this on so as to stick well. I love it that I can use my phone when charging and I can have most comfortable angle of view. I have to admit that it has high quality and multifunction. So I am planning to two more to use respectively in my office and at my home as well. I would like to recommend it to you!
I ordered this phone stand for my company vehicle. I drive a lot for work and often find myself looking for a good mount that works well and looks nice. I purchased this because I was intrigued by the charging cable and the ability to move the stand to different locations which should allow it to be more versatile and work well in many different vehicles.

Overall I like the stand and it works well. However, the other reviews are right to complain about the magnetic connection for the charging cable – it does not work well. As a stand it is great. Even though it was very difficult to get the little stands poked through the holes where you want them, once you did get it all figured out this was a very useful car mount. I absolutely love The magnet. My phone had rang and I hurried and grabbed my phone and was so happy that I didn't have to worry about unplugging it first. I love technology! And this is definitely a product of future technology. I have an android and my husband has an iPhone so we really liked how either of us can use this car mount, depending on who is using the car at the time. Also when we were driving together, he was able to attach his phone on this mount, and I was able to rest mine on the rubbery pad so it didn't slip around. A+

This is a very elegant, slim, and functional case. Given that I've dropped this phone from table height at least three or four times now, I can say that it does offer an appropriate level of protection for minor drops. A major drop? Who knows? But I'm feel pretty good the phone would survive.
My initial concern was the durability of the material between the phone case and the cover, as I flip it back and forth many dozens of times a day. After a month or so, it show no signs of decline. One thing I like is how beautifully the front cover lines up with the rest of the case when it's open all the way up and flipped around to the back. The magnet built into the case holds it well so that it feels like a phone without a cover. It holds well in the hand in that position. Also, you can dial your number, close the case, talk as normal, and not worry about your face accidentally hanging up on the call or planting your face print into the screen.
Lastly, it just looks great. It gets lots of complements. The design allows me to use all the "edge" functions of the phone as intended. I hate spending more than a few bucks for a case, but for this one, I'm glad I spent a little more.

If I could give this case more than 5 stars I would. It looks stunning on my my white Galaxy S7 Edge, although to be fair, it looks even better on my wife's 'gold' metal colored S7 Edge. My only concern when buying was whether it would be Ok to work in conjunction with my newly acquired Pleson wireless charger. No worries - the Edge charges fine. You can use the phone with the front cover folded back, or simply close the cover when talking and calls sound great with no muffling when closed. The case is real leather on top of a carbonate case - a real quality product. Of course, any leather will shows little marks after use, but this just adds to the authentic look. I wanted to give one to a friend, but the case is only for the Edge version and not regular S7 - too bad. This is a classy looking cover and in keeping with the overall 'thin' phone aspects, i.e. sophisticated and not clunky.
Fits great, offers solid (but not excellent) protection. Leather feels great and it stays shut when it should. Overall I really like case and would strongly recommend it to others looking for a stylish case that protects the front and back of your S7 Edge. There is enough room on the sides of the case to use the 'edge' features of the phone with ease. So far the case is holding up well and already protected my phone from 1 drop.
