After note 5 's big success I was a little skeptical about how the new release of note 7 will do.. But no wonder it just hit the first stand and all my worries were thundered away in just a few minutes when I got this iconic phablet in my hand.

I chose the blue coral one to enjoy the feature of a new magic in a soothing color matching with the sea.

Now coming straight to point--

The best build and features of note 7 in my testing are -

1. Ergonomic Design - This 5.7 inch Android V6.0.1 2 SIM slot phablet is edged in both sides quite different from previous note 5 which was only edged in front side. Now it's dual curved with super AMOLED display with a S pen. The benefit of dual curve is that it really feels smooth and symmetric in hands. It feels like you are holding glass with no metalic thing in between. Really ergonomic design.
2. Screen - The screen is fabulous . The Quad Hd wonder has a bigger screen size compared to iPhone . On the left hand side you have infra red light for iris scanner and on the right a dedicated camera fir scanning irises.
3. Sleek and light weight - It's a bit narrower and less weight than note 5 which means you are getting more technology in a lighter weight.
4. Build Quality damage proof - Aluminum alloy with The gorilla glass 5 case is surely a big wall against any damages to this precious note 7.
5. Type c port and adapter - It has a USB type c port with a matching adapter that comes with the phone.From nexus 5x I am a fan of using type c port and I am really enjoying this in my samsung note 7 also. I am happy Samsung provided the adapter and I don’t have to use other compatible adapter.
6. Memory - It has extended memory up to 2 TB of card but depending on what is available now you can use 4GB of RAM along with 64GB of internal storage . If you preorder Samsung is providing the gift of of free Gear Fit 2 or a free 256GB Samsung microSD card for more space.
7. Camera - It has 12 mp rear cam and 5 mp front cam. It has HDR video also. Super focus and best low light pictures . Selfies look mind blowing. The low light pictures are also of good resolution.
8. Iris scanner- Note 7 has iris scanner which helps me to unlock the device and also authenticates the phone by eyes. Just keep your eyes 25-35 cm away and from your face, open your eyes wide , the scanner captures the iris and you are all set to swipe, scan and unlock.I loved to enjoy the dual feature of iris scanner and fingerprint sensor together for different usage. I will love to use the iris scanner for secure folder .
9. Fast charging - Note 7 charges so fast. It gets half charged within 10 minutes which is quite helpful when you are in a hurry and need your phone atleast charged to make necessary calls or browsing the mails.
10. S pen - S Pen is 20 mm long 3 g light weight a bit thinner this time, good for artists .action memo, S Note and scrapbook all together in Samsung notes. So you don't have to wander and get all the options at one place.
11. Beautiful features of S Pen - S Pen features are great. When you eject S Pen you have the feature of air command like - a) magnifying glass for zooming in text b) translate c) glance - view an app as thumbnail and fully later d) Smart select is really wonderful to give gift of Integrated GIF of 15 sec of videos currently running on the screen to your beloved ones.
12. Water resistance - Enjoy water resistance feature not only for the phone but this time also for the S pen which is great, so you can take notes with s pen while being with your phone under water ...any way I have not tried it till now.
13. Battery - The battery is really great. You are getting 3,500 mAh battery which is really huge for a phablet .
14. Always on display - always on display same as S7. You can take memos with a S pen while display is off.
15. No damage for S Pen or by S pen to phone - You can't put in the Spen backwards , the slot is done in such a way that the pen will not enter in backward direction so either way the phone and the S pen is damage proof.

Now just a few loopholes-

1. Slower IRIS Scanner with some backdrops - The iris scanner is surely the elegant touch in note 7 and must awaited one but it's really slow. It works well only without lenses or glasses and in bright light. So, I think that's a minus point for this great feature.
2. Expensive - It’s really expensive.
3. Non replaceable battery - You can not replace the battery . I really wonder why Samsung has not done anything for this replaceable battery.
4. Speaker - Speaker placement is at the bottom and not front facing. Only one speaker and the sound is not so impressive.
5. No FM radio - For a radio music lover like me I really miss FM radio in my Note 7.
6. Back cover attracts grease and grime - Back cover does not have oleophobic coating so it’ easily catches grease and grime.
7. Gorilla Glass 5 - It is made of Gorilla Glass 5 both front and back. The main disadvantage of this is that it is more prone to scratches, can catch scratches easily. But it will not break easily that’s a plus point.

Note 7 has given quite a good choice of colors - black onyx, silver titanium,blue coral and gold platinum.
Its display is just way better than previous generation phones. Smooth butter like screen navigation. And the Edge display is just an icing on the cake.

Camera- Checked out the camera features and very impressed with pic quality. To me the innovative feature implemented in. Note 7 camera app is the toggle functionality from front to rear camera and vice versa. I hope many people welcome this feature as like me.

Apps just open faster. Game apps just open like jet fast on tapping. Of course it depends on later how much you load the phone with more apps, media etc.

I really like the UI design. It's fresh and easy access to all features of the phone. May be it's me, since I was using this number of galaxy series phones for last 5 years.

It got external micro SD card slot, it's IP68 water, dust resistant.

Pretty feature packed and slim and Lightweighted smartphone from Samsung.

If it is a question of upgrade My answer will be YES!!! It’s a go.

iPhone SE VS. iPhone 5S

So should you upgrade? I will start with those without a contract. If you hold any iPhone with a 4" screen or smaller, and you are free from any contracts, then yes you should upgrade. This includes current users of iPhone 1/3G/3GS/4/4S/5/5c/5s. Here's why. If you are without a contract, you probably paid more for your current phone than you will for this one. Given that you were able to afford a full price iPhone, you can definitely enjoy the features of this phone. The way I see it, this phone is the perfect way to enjoy an iPhone 6s without the huge cost (and the 3D touch).
iPhone 6 users, this one is a 50/50 call. You really should be happy with your phone, but, then again, I pretty much just trashed your phone in the specs throw down above. This one is a tough call, and one you and your wallet should decide.
The marriage of the SE's smaller size with the power of the 6s is the real advantage of this phone. Graphics are also as fast as the 6s, in some cases measurably (but probably not noticeably) faster because of the lower power demands of the smaller screen. The rear camera is excellent, the very same 12 MP iSIght camera that's also on the 6s. It also takes Live Photos, as well as HDR photos, and can capture 4K video. Battery life is great. The maximum storage for the SE is 64 GB, so anyone needing more will have to look to the 6 line. Evidently, the SE's modem does not include support for as many LTE bands as the 6s, and this may be in issue if you plan to use the phone in some foreign countries. Also, the 6s has MIMO WiFi so it should have faster maximum throughput than the SE.

Bottom line: this is a compact, easy-to-handle, yet really powerful phone. It's a big performance step up from my 5s. I prefer a phone I can keep for at least 3 years, and I think the SE has enough power that it will be able to run future iOS versions well enough for me to do that - time will tell. At least until iPhone 7 is released, the SE will give me a phone that's nearly as powerful as Apple's top of the line, but which I can easily put into my front jeans pocket (well, more easily than the 6s, anyway) and that's exactly what I was looking for.

I've also owned the iPad Mini 2, iPad 4, iPad Air 2, and for a brief time, the iPad Pro 12.9".
The minority of upgrades along this ownership have been truly revolutionary. Moving to the Retina MacBook Pro from a regular 13" MacBook pro was a huge one. The iPhone 4 over the iPhone 3G was pretty huge.
I purchased this iPad with the cellular and left a review for that one. If you don't need cellular this one is the way to go. My last iPad was the third generation and that was 4 years ago. Now it has gotten old and slow. So, two months ago I started to look at new devices. Surprise! My husband bought me the 12.9" iPad Pro. Very nice device but BIG!!!! So hubby took over the new IPad and I waited until the latest iPad Pro 9.7" was released. The 9.7" Pro is a bit slimmer than the old iPads but has the same sized screen. Unless you have really big hands and long fingers the 12.9" Pro is unwieldy to hold as a tablet and to type. Also, the 9.7" Pro is much lighter weight than the older models full sized iPads and the same weight as the iPad Air. The graphics are exceptional as is the upgraded 12MP camera. It will not take the place of a DSLR camera for the camera buff but for me, who loves to take pictures of family, pets, and items to list on eBay, it is awesome. There is another feature that the camera does which is called a "live" shot. It is not a video but a mini snipit of about three seconds. This feature literally brings a picture to life. You hold your finger on the shot and it comes alive. It is the difference between taking a picture of a child as they blow out that first candle on their cake and actually seeing the child blowing it out. Amazing! As an long time iPad user I knew that I would need at least the 128GB for my apps, updates, pictures and music. Even though we subscribe to a 200GB iCloud storage plan it is amazing how quickly all that data takes up space. It would be a real shame to buy a device and skimp on something so basic. Will this take the place of a desktop or laptop? For me it does 99 percent of the time. It is perfect for social networking, skyping, uploading pictures, writing documents and printing them off of a wireless printer and, of course, on-line shopping. If I was still in grad school or running a business then I would probably need a laptop or desktop. As with all Apple products they are intuitive. The set up is a breeze and if you have an issue the Apple support team is just a phone call away. I am loving my new iPad 9.7 Pro and I know you will, too!
In my opinion, the Apple Pencil is what sets this tablet apart from any other tablet. YOU DO NOT NEED TO BE AN ARTIST TO HAVE A USE FOR THE APPLE PENCIL! I own my own business. I constantly have to annotate PDF files, sign documents, jot notes down. Being able to preform these tasks digitally is not only MUCH more convenient, it's fun! You can mark up things and email them back instantly. For me this is invaluable. You can take a picture (with THE BEST camera on a tablet, again, not debatable) throw it in Notes and use the Apple Pencil to handwrite a few notes about it, and send it away. For this specific task, it is better to have an iPad Pro than a laptop.
In addition, the speakers are amazing. Seriously, 11 out of 10 for a mobile device. I cannot understate this. They sound great and they are loud enough to entertain a small party. My bluetooth speaker has been sitting on the shelf since I bought the iPad Pro. Recently took a vacation to Florida and brought the iPad Pro to the pool. To own an ultra portable device that you can store all of your music on and play it on its internal speakers without having to pair it to some other battery driven device is awesome to me! Around the house, I listen to podcasts on it all of the time. I can leave the room and still hear it in the kitchen. I absolutely love the speakers and simply will not purchase another tablet unless they can match these speakers. I cannot go without them now.

The iPad Pro has a number of other amazing features that I'm sure the other reviews will highlight. I will end my review with this: This is undoubtedly the best tablet available. As with almost anything, if you want the best, it's going to cost you more. My advice to anyone willing to spend around $350 for a tablet OR laptop, spend the extra money to purchase an iPad Pro instead. It will run circles around any tablet or laptop in that price range, and from my experience, it will become the favorite electronic device that you've ever bought.

Best Leather Case for Samsung Galaxy K Zoom

I really like my K Zoom, and only issue has been finding the right screen protection and case that works! Problem is whatever screen protector applied would have edges popped up when typical cases were installed making the screen protector bubbled to the point of wanting to rip it off the device. So decided to try a flip wallet cover again to use without a screen protector and let the wallet flap be the protector . Problem with past flip wallets I have tried on previous devices is the "clasp" or magnetic closure was a pain, and made slipping the phone in and out of a pocket difficult. Bottom line on case is it has clean minimal lines, good looks, fits in pocket easily, slim profile, and simply just works well. Since it is new can not attest to durability- only thing could be the point of wear on the leather at the "hinge" ? Just will have to see how it holds up!
I just rec this case and it is sure worth every penny. It fits Great, feels great and is a Great look. It also protects the phone and is really classy. I wish it came in brown I would buy another in a second.

I wanted to add the following:
I just got this case again in Black and it is OUTSTANDING. The service of the company is OUTSTANDING. The product is great. I received so many compliments about the case in Brown, the look, how nice it feels and after a few weeks it holds up really Great. So with that said I did want this in Black, I did write the company an email, which they got back to me right away and today, Easter Sunday, UPS just delv my new Black case. I highly recommend this product to anyone that wants the look, feel, of a very sharp case.
Pros: When opened opened fully, the cover lies nice and flush on the back of the case. The magnet that is supposed to hold it closed is actually really good at keeping it open. All the cutouts are in the right spot, the leather looks very nice, and it's just thick enough to protect without adding extra bulk.
Cons: The cover does not quite reach the other side like in the picture, and it doesn't stay shut well. The product was also supposed to have "microfiber leather" interior so I thought it would be soft like suede. It's the same material as the outside though, just very thin.
This is one awesome phone case! I tried several others but this is the one! It's sleek, compact, strong, and elegant, all at the same time. This is the best case that I've found for the K Zoom. It just feels good in the hand.

Nillkin Full Coverage Glass Screen Protector for iPhone 6 Plus/6S Plus

This Tempered Glass Screen Protector is beautifully crafted. This kit came with the standard cleansing wipes as well as a dust absorber (to pluck out all the lint and dirt the wipes could not remove) & two guide stickers (place on the top & bottom in the front of the screen protector so you can use it as a holding mechanism).

Pros:
1. Aesthetically pleasing alongside the iPhone 6s
2. Easy to install
3. Bubble-free
4. Cost efficient
5. Tempered Glass instead of Plastic
6. Cut-Out holes are very accurate

Cons:
1. Does not cover the entire front screen (leaves a small white border)
2. The right and left edge of the screen does not accurately line up with the iPhone, so the black screen is visible behind the rose gold color (watch video for further clarification).
3. The Rose Gold color is not exactly the same as the iPhone 6s, but the two together make a nice contrast. It is a bit darker & the texture is more glossy than matte. Also, it is quite sheer, which makes the black iPhone screen evident alongside the inaccurately lined screen protector.

All in all, this product is very well made with a few flaws here and there, but nothing major. Nevertheless, this product is very unique and does appear to be well made. I haven't tested out how well this product will hold up after a few weeks/months from now, but I will make sure to post an update in the near future. It is a very beautiful screen protector & it goes very nicely with the Rose Gold iPhone 6s. I have attached a few images in different lighting and a video below for further visualization.
