I'm coming from an HTC One with their fabulous dot case, so my standards are pretty high. First I bought a clear PC (hard, polycarbonate) case with TPU sides (soft, thermoplastic polyurethane) and no cover, and added a Yootech screen protector. A good option, but the case sides somewhat obscured the screen edges, and made using the screen edges harder. I also missed the better screen protection and functionality of my old dot case. Then I tried some wallet cases which were nice, but as soon as I added any cards or cash they became too thick and unwieldy, so I abandoned that idea. Next I discovered Samsung's S-View cases on their website, but the prices were prohibitive, so I checked Amazon and found them for less than half their retail prices and bought both. First to arrive was this full screen case which was more like my old dot case, but the cover had a tendency to move around, never resting properly on the screen unless it was pressed against it, either in my pocket or resting face down on a surface. Otherwise a nice solution which I'm keeping as my backup case. The S-View window case was next to arrive, and because of its folio design the cover tends to sit in the right place more often than not. It also adds the ability to place calls and take square photos (instead of the usual wide aspect) as opposed to the other S-View which only permitted answering calls. If you're not using the phone's smart lock features, you'll have to open the case to unlock it first defeating the convenience of closed case operations, so by all means activate these features to take full advantage of the case's capabilities.
Looks very classy and works very well. The previous version for my Galaxy S6 Edge was a fingerprint magnet and it scratched the screen. I've been using this one now for about 2 months with no screen scratches and very few fingerprints (those that do appear over time are easily removed). Samsung did a good job of correcting all the deficiencies of the previous version. I bought 6 different cases for my S7 Edge trying to find the right one. This is the one I chose to use on a permanent basis. I really like this case and highly recommend it.

Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge User Review

I have been using this phone for three days now. I was impressed that the phone was delivered sooner than expected. The box was sealed and everything was intact.
The Galaxy S7 Edge is a nice phone. There is no questioning that. It's certainly good that Samsung brought back the expandable storage via the Micro SD slot because it was obnoxious for them to ask for $200 more for the larger capacity phone last year when you could have bought your own extra storage for $30.
The S7 Edge still doesn't have the removable battery which is a problem for me as I like to keep phones for a few years. Batteries only last a year or two before they start to show a noticeable reduction in performance. I like being able to get the $20 replacement battery, pop it an and be on my way.
And while the S7 is a great phone otherwise in every category, there are budget phones now that are starting to get pretty darn good for around $200 to $300. They aren't as good as the S7, but they are as good as the S4. So they are 2-3 years behind, but the phone tech from 4 years ago was pretty good for the average user. I was ready to buy the S7. I had it in my hand at the T Mobile....and just decided to go with a lower cost phone. The S7 is awesome, but I couldn't justify the price tag.
The S7 Edge earns it's value for 2 types of phone users though. People who want an really good camera in their pocket at all times and people who like to play high end graphical video games. If you are one of those people, then this might be a good value at $700 for you. If you just want to make calls, text your friends, take the occasional picture, and play a couple fairly simple games, you might consider one of the more budget friendly phones by companies that were considered off brands 3 years ago but who now are making very quality phones. (Asus and Accetel come to mind. There are others. There are also some really garbage off brands that you want nothing to do with.)
Or maybe you just want a massively overpowered phone, in which case, this is the one for you. No one really NEEDS a Ferrari either, but I certainly understand why people want them! The S7 is the same way. It's probably more powerful than you need, but it's awesome.
But as for the Galaxy S7 the reintroduction of the micro SD slot for expandable storage makes it a significant improvement over the S6. Just be careful when buying a micro SD card. Stick to the major brands (Samsung, SanDisk, Kingston, etc). A large number of the off brands are fake cards. They might have 128GB printed on the side and might even show as 128GB in the phone, but they are really 16GB cards that have been hacked. once you get the card, even if its a name brand from a reliable seller, test the card to make sure it's actually the real capacity it claims to be by either using a testing program called h2testw or just put 40gb of data on it and make sure you can read it back properly.
This is one of the most gorgeous phones I have seen. I would rather suggest buying from a carrier as they are much cheaper cost wise and you get free VR gear as well. Making it even more worth it.
The battery is bigger but personally it is draining out pretty fast even when kept idle. I am assuming it is because of the "always on" feature so I am going to disable that and check out a few more days. But that is least of my concerns as the battery does last about a whole day after a lot of usage.
The addition of microSD slot is a good move as even the 32 GB inbuilt memory isnt enough for people like me. Specially when you are buying a high tech phone and expect to do almost every thing with your super phone you need lots of memory.

The Packaging:
The TAGreat Battery Case comes in very stylish orange and white box. Trianium claims on the box that it provides a “Protective Bumper”, “Doubles Battery Life”, “Sync through the Case”, “5200mAh Battery”. Furthermore, the box provides an informative diagram of the case for the phone (such as button placements and various features). Kudos to the marketing team for providing a stylish yet informative box.
Inside the Packaging:
Opening the top two plastic safety seals on the box reveals a plastic shell housing the following: an Headphone Extension/Adapter Cable, Micro USB Charging/Syncing Cable, User’s Manual, and of course, the TAGreat Battery case itself. I do want to commend Trianium for the well thought out user’s manual. It provides information to what is included with the packaging, how to install the battery case, how to use the battery case, charging specifications, frequently asked questions, benefits, and warnings and warranty information.

Utilizing the TAGreat Battery Case:
Wow! Holding the Battery case in the hand feels great! The black model comes with a soft touch material that does not make the phone slippery. I do; however, have to note that since it is black and the material is soft, it is a fingerprint magnet!
Installing the battery case was a breeze. As mention in the User’s manual, lift the bumper surrounding the case, gently slide the phone onto the lighting connector of the case, and snap the bumper back on the case.
*Do NOTE that it needs to snap into place*
I recommend you listen for the snap and visually inspect that it is leveled on there and in place!
Using the case to charge your phone is as easy as holding the power button on the back of the case for 2 seconds and releasing it! Repeat the process to turn it off! There are 4 LED indicators in the back that indicate how much power you have in the battery pack.

The case provides a lay on the table design with a raised lip that does not interfere with my plastic screen protector. The buttons are AWESOME ON THIS CASE. Tactile feedback is definitely there on the volume rocker and power button. There is a cut out for the silent switch. It is noted that the cut out makes the button recessed; however, there is no problem accessing it even with short nails like mine.
I tested the phone for any possible microphone muting and speaker audio muting problems. I am glad to say all my callers can hear me loud and clear! Furthermore, the speaker seemed perfectly fine up till about 80% max volume. I noticed at 80% volume or higher, there was a slight distortion or echoing of the speaker audio. When I mean SLIGHT, you really really REALLY have to be listening for it. As with most battery cases, you have to use a headphone extension/adapter to access the headphone jack. I find it a pain in the butt to use an extension but that is just me being lazy.
I also had the chance to test out the camera with flash and the various sensors on the phone. The cut out for the camera is nice and wide and does not interfere with flash or taking the picture. The case did not interfere with any proximity sensors or made it difficult to use the home button.
I tested the “claim” that it could sync through the TAGreat Battery Case. I am happy to report that it DOES work. I was able to sync my phone to iTunes without a problem.
Size? Weight? Aesthetics? This case is slimmer than my Otter Box! I was thoroughly surprised and very welcoming to the design. The TAGreat Battery Case did add some weight to the phone but nothing significant enough to make you hate your phone for being a brick or anything to make everyday use cumbersome. Aesthetics? I know this is a very subjective topic. I for one, like the design of this case. It looks freaking awesome! I had a couple of my friends inquire about the case and how “cool” it was.
The most important thing: Does it work as a battery case? My answer is YES!! At 5200 mAh, the battery case double the battery life of your phone and then some. The phone comes with an 1810 mAh battery case. With battery case and the conventional math, you can be packing 4910 mAh in your pocket! This should carry even the heaviest phone users throughout the day and then some! Those who use their phone sparingly like myself, you may expect a 2-4 days without reaching for a charging cable!
Minor Quirks and “Meh” Opinions about the Case:
Like I mentioned earlier, there is a slight distortion in the speaker audio if you crank it past 80%. The headphone extension is required to use the headphone jack. The Micro USB cable did not come with a wall charger (but you can always use your apple wall charger). The soft touch material of the case is a fingerprint magnet if your hands are oily. When charging the case, it will charge your phone first before charging the case.

This is a very elegant, slim, and functional case. Given that I've dropped this phone from table height at least three or four times now, I can say that it does offer an appropriate level of protection for minor drops. A major drop? Who knows? But I'm feel pretty good the phone would survive.
My initial concern was the durability of the material between the phone case and the cover, as I flip it back and forth many dozens of times a day. After a month or so, it show no signs of decline. One thing I like is how beautifully the front cover lines up with the rest of the case when it's open all the way up and flipped around to the back. The magnet built into the case holds it well so that it feels like a phone without a cover. It holds well in the hand in that position. Also, you can dial your number, close the case, talk as normal, and not worry about your face accidentally hanging up on the call or planting your face print into the screen.
Lastly, it just looks great. It gets lots of complements. The design allows me to use all the "edge" functions of the phone as intended. I hate spending more than a few bucks for a case, but for this one, I'm glad I spent a little more.

If I could give this case more than 5 stars I would. It looks stunning on my my white Galaxy S7 Edge, although to be fair, it looks even better on my wife's 'gold' metal colored S7 Edge. My only concern when buying was whether it would be Ok to work in conjunction with my newly acquired Pleson wireless charger. No worries - the Edge charges fine. You can use the phone with the front cover folded back, or simply close the cover when talking and calls sound great with no muffling when closed. The case is real leather on top of a carbonate case - a real quality product. Of course, any leather will shows little marks after use, but this just adds to the authentic look. I wanted to give one to a friend, but the case is only for the Edge version and not regular S7 - too bad. This is a classy looking cover and in keeping with the overall 'thin' phone aspects, i.e. sophisticated and not clunky.
Fits great, offers solid (but not excellent) protection. Leather feels great and it stays shut when it should. Overall I really like case and would strongly recommend it to others looking for a stylish case that protects the front and back of your S7 Edge. There is enough room on the sides of the case to use the 'edge' features of the phone with ease. So far the case is holding up well and already protected my phone from 1 drop.
