I have tried various designs of vehicle phone holders from ones that attach to an AC vent to others that make use of a suction cup that secures it to the windshield. My favorite and most convenient phone holders so far are the ones that I can quickly place my phone on without fumbling with them too much in order to get them to securely hold the phone. This Remax silicone dash pad phone holder is now one of my favorites because I can start up a GPS map app and then in a matter of seconds place the phone between the cradle legs and be confident that my phone won't going flying off somewhere in the car when driving. Something to take note is that the cradle legs may not secure a phone in a thick case. The space that fits the phone is only 3/8 in / 10 mm wide but will stretch somewhat because it is made of soft rubber. I'm mentioning this because it is an important thing to consider before purchasing this item.
The greatest feature of this holder that it doesn't need any sticky adhesives to stay secure on the dashboard which may ruin the finish. Since the holder dash pad is made of silicone rubber that has a glossy smooth finish on the bottom, it has a tenacious grip on most surfaces which includes most dashboards. I say most because some dashboards have certain finishes and textures that may not allow the holder to grip as well as it should and then others sometimes have features such as a section that has compartment that can hold items that would prevent this holder from resting on the dashboard surface properly. I have one such vehicle like that so this holder didn't work as well on the dashboard in that vehicle but it worked well in my remaining vehicles.

The one standout feature of this holder beside the non-adhesive silicone grip is the magnetic charging cable. This feature is ingenious because it allows for you to easily remove the phone from the holder and use the phone without the cable exerting stress on the phone charging port when handling it or having to unnecessarily disconnect or reconnect the cable for whatever reason. However, it isn't without faults because the magnetic end wasn't designed as well on it should have been. The magnetic button is magnetized to a three pin pad on the dash pad that supplies the electric connection when contacted to each other. The magnet is supposed to keep it secure but it isn't as strong as it should be because at times it will disconnect and reconnect during the course of driving. This tends to happen when driving on rough roads such as pothole laden and other poorly maintained roads. Thankfully, the magnet on my holder seems somewhat more strong than some other reviewers of this product because for the most part the magnetic button does stay connected with little problem.
The charging end includes an Apple Lightning and Micro-B USB plugs. One plug that is missing and I feel should have been included is a USB type-c plug. Since this holder is a newly released product and USB type-c is starting to replace the old Micro-B USB type plugs on more and more newly released mobile devices in the market, why it wasn't included is perplexing because it would of future proofed this product in the coming years when USB type-c eventually completely replaces Micro-B USB.
Lastly, I like the matte black color because it doesn't standout in comparison to the dashboard with exception of the matte red logo that shows up more readily on the windshield because of the brighter color but not by any means enough to distract from driving because of the small size. If you have a phone or phone in a case with a bright color then that won't really matter anyways.
Overall I really like this phone holder because it is convenient to use compared to some other phone holders. The design is unique and innovative but it does need some improvement as per the reasons stated above.

This little unit is pretty amazing. I have a 2012 Nissan Altima with a Kenwood DNX571HD. This little mount goes perfectly right above my radio. The mount pulls the phone very close to the vent it almost looks like My LG G3 was built in. This accessory securely holds my IPhone 6 to the car's air vents. It was easy to add to my phone, I simply slid the magnetic pads in between the phone and case. There were three different magnetic pads, so it was easy to keep the pads away from the camera, etc. The magnetic pads are thin and do not make the phone much heavier. The clip is sturdy and securely attaches to the car's air vents. The angle is perfect to see phone while driving. This is perfect for those hands free states, so that I can see directions and follow the law to be hands free (I'm in CA a lot). The phone remained securely attached for all bumps and turns while driving. The only negative is that this accessory diverts air coming from the vents. I live in the Phoenix area and I can see this being removed in the summer when air is a must! Overall a great addition to my phone and car!
Works very well. The magnet is so strong, you really need to put it inside a case. If you attach the metal to the phone and magnet to the metal, it will be difficult, not impossible, but difficult to separate them. I removed the case of my iPhone a taped the metal plate inside it. The tape is only there to keep the plate from sliding around. You don't have to use the tape. You could use the adhesive backed disk (provided) instead. With the thickness of the case between the magnet and the plate, the phone is held securely but is easily removed. Best way to remove is to slide off sideways instead of pulling off directly. The base of the magnet has two different thickness grooves to slip over the slats of your A/C vent for a good fit. The only negative (small) is the phone blocks a portion of the vent and the magnet's base somewhat restricts adjustment of the vent. This unit allows me to put my phone in one secure place so I don't have to unbuckle my seatbelt to get into my pants pocket to answer the phone. You can remove the entire unit with magnet attached and use it as a stand on a tabletop. Very convenient. I bought two of these so I don't have move the unit from car to car. Now I still have one metal plate and 4 adhesive backed disks to use if ever needed. BTW. The entire unit has a soft rubber-like covering, so no scratches.
Without a doubt, a universal magnetic cell phone holder is a good investment. There are many different types available in the market, so be sure to test out a few before purchasing one.

I've used couple of dash car mount and this car smartphone dash holder/mount is totally new to me. I'm pleased and impressed with this mount holder because of its unique concept and I like the dual charging cable for iOS and Android phone in a single cable and that looks very neat and convenient so you don’t have to use two different cable if you have a device that uses micro USB, with its magnetic charging connection it is sturdy an has pretty strong magnet and can be rotates and still held in place with no issue on charging. The magnetic cable length is 8 inches end to end and the USB cable is 42 inches which is long enough to reach my cigarette USB charger.
The mount holder is made of silicon rubber with lots of mounting holes with rubber stand which has unlimited configuration and you can do your own configuration to work with your device. The base basically looks like a sticky pad with bunch of holes on it. The base on the bottom sticks well on my dash board and it stays in place.
This is a handy cell phone or GPS holder to keep your device upright on the dashboard so that you can easily see it when you are driving. It took a few minutes to put it together, you have to put the two side holders into the pad by pushing little plastic pieces through the pads. It takes a few minutes and a bit of dexterity. The pad sits on the dashboard and although I thought it would be tacky orsomething it is not.It does not stick to the dashboard at all. It seems like it might fall off but it doesn't I tried it on the freeway and on some very windy roads on the way to the beach. It never fell off even when I whipped around a turn or two. You can easily move it to another location depending if you are reading your device from the driver's seat or the passenger's seat.It has a charger that charges your device while you are using it. The charger seemed somewhat slow on my tests.It is a different type of connection than I have seen before. The charger connects via a magnet. This seems to do the trick but I have pulled out the cord by mistake a couple of times as it is not firmly attached.The charger has two ports, one for new iphones and one for other standard phones like Samsung. I am using it with a Samsung Note 4 with a pretty heavy duty case on it and it does fit. I purchased this product at a reduced price in return for an honest review.

The product is a good idea. It satisfied my needs that I have been looking for something that will hold my phone or GPS without sliding off my dash during every turn. And this is it. Its unique design really makes my car more fashionable and creative. After I received the beautiful packages, I installed it all by myself. All in all, it is easy to apply. it is made of super flexible silicone material. It was a little heavy and felt well built. You? better wipe off your dash before putting this on so as to stick well. I love it that I can use my phone when charging and I can have most comfortable angle of view. I have to admit that it has high quality and multifunction. So I am planning to two more to use respectively in my office and at my home as well. I would like to recommend it to you!
I ordered this phone stand for my company vehicle. I drive a lot for work and often find myself looking for a good mount that works well and looks nice. I purchased this because I was intrigued by the charging cable and the ability to move the stand to different locations which should allow it to be more versatile and work well in many different vehicles.

Even though it was very difficult to get the little stands poked through the holes where you want them, once you did get it all figured out this was a very useful car mount. I absolutely love The magnet. My phone had rang and I hurried and grabbed my phone and was so happy that I didn't have to worry about unplugging it first. I love technology! And this is definitely a product of future technology. I have an android and my husband has an iPhone so we really liked how either of us can use this car mount, depending on who is using the car at the time. Also when we were driving together, he was able to attach his phone on this mount, and I was able to rest mine on the rubbery pad so it didn't slip around. A+

I use this for my S5, and it fits perfectly even with a slim case. This mount is sturdy and easily adjustable. The suction mechanism stays tightly on the dash, yet can be removed without damage (don't just yank it up though, disengage the suction then wiggle it loose). The arm mechanism allows lots of tweaking to the exact positioning. It can extend fairly far. The one complaint is that the back screw that adjusts height occasionally needs to be tightened, especially if you insert and remove your phone frequently, but this is not a big deal. I never got the appeal of car mounts until I got this, and now I feel like I can't live without it. Don't mess around with your phone while driving, buy this and be safe!
